can we use the woodland sauna?

Absolutely! You will find the sauna set back in the woodland area between Pipit and Flycatcher Treehouses. The sauna is free to use for Lanrick Treehouse guests, over 17yrs old, on a first come first served basis.

To avoid disappointment, please note that we cannot guarantee that the sauna will be operational during your stay as it will regularly close for maintenance and cleaning.

Please refer to the sauna guidelines on Vamoos or in your Treehouse/Bothy.

Do The Treehouses accept pets?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets at The Treehouses and The Keeper’s Bothy. We have an incredible array of wildlife living amongst The Treehouses and we want to limit the impact we have on them as much as possible.

Is there parking?

There is space for two vehicles (per treehouse) outside of your Treehouses and The Keeper’s Bothy.

Are The Treehouses child friendly?

We are delighted to welcome families and children of all ages to The Treehouses as it is such a magical spot and a special place for families to explore. We would just advise that parents take care to watch their children carefully when on the deck and stairs up to the treehouses, as well as in the wider area, taking particular care when close to the river.

Flycatcher and Willow Warbler are the most child friendly with slightly lower decks. They are also joined by a rope bridge, making them all the more magical and perfect for a bigger family. Each of the Treehouses have double sofa beds which can comfortably sleep two children under the age of twelve.

The Keeper’s Bothy has two bedrooms with lots of space in the open plan living and kitchen area, ideal for families.
