About Us
The Treehouses were built and run by husband and wife team, Simon and Louisa Dickson. With fifteen years’ experience in the central London design and build world, Simon had always dreamed of creating the ultimate hideaway at his beloved home in Perthshire. Having grown up in this truly special location, Simon is excited to share it with the outside world while ensuring minimal impact on the natural surroundings he cares so greatly about.
Having grown up in Inverness-shire, Louisa has always loved the Scottish outdoors and she fell in love with this area as soon as she laid eyes on it. With seven years’ experience working as an African tour operator and having the opportunity to visit incredible camps and lodges all over the African continent, Louisa has a real eye for detail and exceptionally high standards which she ensures their guests will enjoy.
Lanrick is home to Aly and Penny; Simon’s parents and a collection of wider family. The land has been in their family since 1904 and as well as the treehouses offers salmon and trout fishing, further accommodation, and a stunning treehouse wedding venue.
